The Averoff Art Gallery, also known as the Averoff Museum of Neo-Hellenic Art, is one of Greece’s most respected art institutions, located in the scenic mountain town of Metsovo, in the region of Epirus. Founded in 1988 by the Evangelos Averoff-Tossizza Foundation, the gallery was established to preserve and promote Greek artistic heritage, particularly focusing on modern and contemporary Greek art.
