PRIVATE TOUR from ATHENS to EPIDAURUS, MYCENAE & NAFPLION

We will pick you up from your Athens hotel, Piraeus Portor Athens International Airport, and our first stop will be the Corinth Canal, an engineering marvel separating the Peloponnese peninsula from mainland Greece.

Then, drive to Epidaurus, where your licensed guide will immerse you in the world of Ancient Greece. Explore the Ancient Theater, renowned for its exceptional acoustics.

Next, savor a delicious Greek lunch and stroll through the charming town of Nafplion, with breathtaking views of the Argolic Gulf beneath the imposing Palamidi Fortress.

On the second day, head to Mycenae, the legendary kingdom of Agamemnon, for an in-depth guided exploration of the remarkable Bronze Age archaeological site.

The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel, Piraeus Port, or Athens International Airport.

Meeting Point

We provide pick-up and drop-off from your centrally located Athens hotel, Piraeus Port, or Athens International Airport. When booking, please include your hotel name, cruise details, or flight information for seamless arrangements.

Duration

Our private guided tour of Epidaurus, Mycenae, and Nafplion starts and ends in Athens. The duration is 2 days, from 8:00 am on day 1 to 3:00 pm on day 2, including an overnight stay in Nafplion.

Guide

Your tour will be led by a licensed guide, authorized to conduct private tours in museums and archaeological sites. With deep expertise in both Ancient and Modern Greek history, they offer insightful and engaging commentary throughout your journey.

Museum & Archaeological site tickets

Admission to Mycenae and Ancient Epidaurus is included in the tour price.

Meals

Two authentic Greek lunches, each accompanied by a drink, are included in the tour cost. Meals are enjoyed at some of Nafplion’s finest restaurants, with breathtaking views of the Argolic Gulf.

If any of our clients have specific dietary needs, we are happy to provide vegetarian meals. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or requests regarding food, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Transportation

For our group’s transportation, we have the most modern fleet of minivans. Highly experienced staff perpetuates commitment to quality of service and safety in transportation. All minivans are fully air-conditioned, feature comfortable seats, and have large panoramic windows.

Settle into one of Nafplion’s charming boutique hotels, nestled among the town’s neoclassical buildings and cobbled streets.

Our vehicles are thoroughly sanitized before the start of each tour. All our restaurant partners follow hygiene protocols. All museums and sites we will visit during the tour fully comply with the hygiene standards.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not allowed inside our vehicles, the archaeological sites, museums, and restaurants we visit.

Payment Methods

We offer three payment methods: online payments, payment links, and bank transfers. If you wish to make an online payment please note that we accept VISA, MASTERCARD, and MAESTRO cards. If you make a bank transfer you can submit the payment receipt from your bank on your dashboard page and wait for the verification process. Your booking will be automatically canceled if the payment is not processed within 7 days.

After communicating with PICTOURS OF GREECE, a tailor-made payment plan (number of installments, due dates, etc.) can be arranged.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or modify your booking (departure date, passenger name, etc.), a fee may apply unless the request is made at least 60 days before departure. All requests must be submitted in writing.

Cancellation Fees (as a percentage of the total cost):

  • More than 60 days before departure: 0%

  • 59–50 days before departure: 20%

  • 49–40 days before departure: 40%

  • 39–30 days before departure: 60%

  • 29–20 days before departure: 80%

  • Less than 19 days or no-show: 100%
