PRIVATE TOUR from ATHENS to DELPHI & METEORA

We will pick you up from your Athens hotel, Piraeus Portor Athens International Airport, and drive you privately to Delphi. There, enjoy an in-depth guided tour of both the museum and the archaeological site. Explore the Athena Pronaia site, home to the iconic Tholos building, and visit the Oracle of Delphi at Apollo’s Sanctuary. Your tour will take you through the Roman Market, the Ancient Stadium, the Athenian Treasury, the polygonal wall, the Temple of Apollo, and the Ancient Theater.

Afterwards, indulge in a delicious Greek lunch with stunning views of Itea’s olive groves and taste the famous local cheese, Formaela. Then, discover the picturesque paved alleys of Arachova, a traditional village on the holy grounds of the mountain of Apollo, where we will spend the first night.

The next day, travel to Meteora and immerse yourself in the profound spirituality of this awe-inspiring place. Witness towering pillars of rock, shaped by prehistoric rivers and crowned by otherworldly monasteries. These remarkable structures cling to steep cliffs, standing as monuments to the enduring power of faith, accessible only to the most devoted seekers. The dramatic landscape and spiritual significance of these sacred sites make for an awe-inspiring experience, blending natural wonder with human devotion. Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local dishes, all while sitting under the shade of the Meteora hills. Experience a breathtaking sunset tour of Meteora before settling in for the night.

On the way back to Athens, stop at Thermopylae and pay tribute to the legendary hero King Leonidas at his memorial, honoring his bravery and sacrifice. Standing in the shadow of history, you’ll feel a deep connection to one of Greece’s most heroic moments.

The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel, Piraeus Port, or Athens International Airport.
