Continue to the Herodion and Dionysos Theatre, built into the slopes of the Acropolis, before ascending to its peak. There, marvel at the Parthenon, an enduring symbol of Ancient Greek architectural brilliance.

Enjoy a delightful, authentic Greek lunch in one of the best places downtown, then explore the charming Plaka district. Stroll through its narrow streets, lined with historic monuments, traditional shops, and remnants of old Athens, offering a glimpse into the city’s past before its transformation into a modern metropolis.
Next, admire the grandeur of the Temple of Olympian Zeus, one of Athens’ largest temples, dating back to the 2nd century AD under Emperor Hadrian. Stand in awe before its 16 towering columns that still stand today.
Relax amid the tranquility of the Zappeion Gardens, with a short coffee break before visiting the Zappeion Hall. From there, enjoy a panoramic view of the Panathenaic Stadium, originally built in 338 BC and later reconstructed to host the first modern Olympic Games in 1896.
Conclude your tour at Syntagma Square, where you’ll witness the ceremonial Presidential Guards in front of the Greek Parliament before returning to your hotel.
