THE TOUR

An in-depth private guided tour of Athens, the capital of Civilization and of charming contradictions, specially crafted for those who want to explore the highlights of the city in one day and visit the colorful countryside afterward.

Experience the dazzling modernist Acropolis Museum and reveal layers of history dating back to the 6th century BC. Head towards the Herodion and Dionysos Theatre built on the slopes of the Acropolis. Reach the top of the Acropolis and witness the wonder of Ancient Greek architecture, the Parthenon.

Head downwards to the Ancient Agora, the commercial and social heart of the ancient city, and visit the 5th century B.C. Temple of Hephaestus, the best-preserved classical monument in the whole country today.

Enjoy a delicious authentic Greek lunch and afterward explore the old city of Athens, Plaka, stroll around its small streets and various ancient monuments and shops, and experience the ambiance of what Athens looked like before it became the modern city of today.

View the Temple of Olympian Zeus, one of the biggest temples ever built in Athens, dating back to the 2nd century A.D., by Emperor Hadrian, and enjoy the 16 massive columns still standing to this day.

Relax in the beautiful Zappeion Gardens, with a short stop for a coffee or refreshments, followed by a stop at Zappeion Hall and a view to the Panathenaic Stadium, an ancient Stadium originally built in 338 B.C., but reconstructed in the 19th century to host the revival of the Olympic Games in 1896.

Walk towards the buzzing Syntagma Square and witness the Presidential Guards on duty in front of the Greek Parliament, before returning to your hotel.

This tour exceeded all expectations. It absolutely exceeded all expectations. They were well organized and very friendly. Our guide was amazing. He was super fun and very informative. But more importantly, he was very engaging. He made the sites and information come to life. It was a long day but, he made it fun and interesting throughout. I would absolutely recommend this tour and this company. I will definitely use them again if I get the opportunity to return to Greece.
